Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and older visitors. We have built it with accessibility in mind and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.
What we do to make this site accessible
- A text-size toggle in the header lets you increase the size of all text site-wide. Your choice is remembered on your device.
- We respect your reduced-motion preferences. If you have requested reduced motion in your operating system, animations and transitions on this site are minimised.
- All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are keyboard accessible with visible focus indicators.
- Images include alternative text describing what they show, so screen readers can describe them to people who cannot see them.
- We use semantic HTML (proper headings, lists, landmarks) so assistive technologies can understand the structure of each page.
- We aim to maintain good colour contrast between text and background.
- A "Skip to content" link appears for keyboard users at the top of every page.
Known limitations
The Google Maps embed on our Contact page is provided by Google and its accessibility is outside our direct control. Our address and phone number are also available in plain text on the same page.
Tell us if you have problems
We are always working to improve. If you find anything difficult to use, or if you need information in a different format (for example large print, easy-read, or spoken word), please get in touch:
- By phone: call us
- Via our contact form
We will reply within 5 working days where possible.
Enforcement
If you contact us with an accessibility complaint and you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) via the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
